The Goal

Drive further awareness and trial by amplifying Pure Delight winning the Product Of The Year award recognition through social videos. We will also aim to create more top line launch videos to drive awareness of the range in European markets.

Below are the different ways we approached the content and a summary of the routes we explored:

SOCIAL PROOF 💯 - Use social proof to drive interest - focussing on the Product Of The Year award.

ANNOUNCE THE RANGE 😻 - Show the iconic cat for Whiskers brand recognition and then show off the product key features


Best Practice

We’ve outlined some of the key social media best practices that we’ve incorporated into the content to make sure it doesn’t just look good but it’s also effective:

👌Branding 👌- The Whiskas branding has been injected through each content, to increase brand recognition & recall.

🏃‍♂️On-the-go content 🏃‍♂️- All content delivers a hook message, the claim, or the product itself in a short amount of time and brings core info within the first 3 seconds.

📈Creative Variance 📈- Each piece is unique meaning it's perfect for testing to understand what is engaging with consumers to influence future content.

🔇Sound Off 🔇- Content can be understood with sound off, however delights with sound on through the use of audio tracks that complement the animation style of the video.

  • SOCIAL PROOF 15 sec: 3x videos in 1 format (16:9)

  • ANNOUNCE THE RANGE 6 sec: 3x videos in 3 formats (9:16, 4:5 & 16:9)

  • ANNOUNCE THE RANGE 15 sec: 3x videos in 1 format (16:9)

Delivery & Next Steps:

  • Please select your favourite 3 videos from 'Social Proof 6 sec', 3 videos from 'Social Proof 15sec', 3 videos from 'Announce the range 6 sec', 3 videos from 'Announce the range 15sec.

  • Please using the asset reference code (E.g. NGNL_XXXX) when selecting the videos.

  • Some videos are currently in 9:16 format, optimized for Stories & others in 16:9 format, optimized for AMZ network

  • Following selection, you have 2 round of feedback on your selected videos.

  • Once amended we will proceed to formatting

  • Once formatting is completed, we’ll proceed to the iterations for different markets for an overall delivery of 60 videos.
