🎯 Objective
CONVERSION
Increase TikTok’s user base in the UK and other key EMEA markets, focusing on the 18-34 market.
For this live action brief, we have produced an array of different videos based upon the below Direction to achieve the objective.
🎨 Direction
Continuing on from the success of previous EduTok campaigns, we’ve created inspirational and entertaining PGC (polished) videos that resonate with the masses. We centred the filmmaker production around the following themes:
Educational / Fitness / Animals / Beauty / Wellbeing / Science & Tech
Following production, we’ve built socially optimised videos that showcase the content and functionality within the TikTok app. The creative routes explored are as follows:
Single narrative - these videos are centred around one specific content theme, conveying a narrative that inspires or humours our audience. Each video gives a flavour of the type of content that can be explored through TikTok.
Mash-ups - these videos showcase the range of different content available through the TikTok app, through energetic edits or packaging up the videos by category.
Step into the world - these videos highlight specific functionality to the TikTok app, focusing on the Discover section and the Like button.
📱 Placement
The videos have primarily been built for Facebook & Instagram Stories, upon sign off we will optimise for Feed and YouTube. Below are some of the best practices we’ve applied across the campaign:
Driving an action - each video draws emphasis to the audience’s next step, whether this is at the start, throughout or at the end.
TikTok through & through - each video is clearly TikTok branded, and features overlays that are true to the TikTok look & feel.
Attention grabbing - each of the narratives aims to pique audience curiosity. Whether this is through an intriguing hook, or a humorous moment.
