PUBG - The Hype

 

The Goal

To promote the Mountain Dew brand sponsorship of PUBG Mobile World League and encourage gamers to fuel their battles with Mountain Dew - putting Dew front-of-mind with gamers!


The Direction

Within this brief we explored 2 creative routes to ensure variety within the content and messaging - utilising a mix of core MTNDew brand elements and PUBG gameplay, footage and stills:

  • Building The Hype - cementing the Mountain Dew and PUBG partnership with a high octane impact - landing the combined worlds with a BOOM!

  • Fuelling The Hype - communicating that Mountain Dew is the perfect gaming refreshment - you're playing PUBG, you need some Dew!


Considerations

For both the Build & Fuel content we’ve made sure we tap into a number of best practices:

  • Brand - strong brand & product presence

  • Impact - landing a core message and product within the first 3secs

  • Consumable - easily digestible and engaging within viewing experience

  • Focussed - clear and concise messaging
