The Creative Articulation
In this campaign, we want to create excitement for the new MINI Electric that will launch in March 2020. Or goal is to drive viewers to click through the Ad and register on the VIP list to stay updated! For more variations, we will create multiple creative routes and will leverage 2 TVC’s that show off different aspects of the car such as strength, playfulness or acceleration.
Below are the different ways we approached the content and a summary of the routes we explored:
THE NARRATIVE🎬 - Tell the story of the TVC spots whilst bringing a hook message and core info upfront.
ARE YOU READY?🔥 - Mix the 2 TVC’s and to adopt an “Action movie teaser” style. We aim to front load the action and get a pulsed message across the 15 second video.
COMING SOON⏰ - Put the emphasis on/play with the “Coming Soon” message, and get viewers to want to stay updated.
Best Practice
We’ve outlined some of the key social media best practices that we’ve incorporated into the content to make sure it doesn’t just look good but it’s also effective:
👌Branding 👌- Whilst ensuring that the MINI branding is clear, we’ve ensured it’s not intrusive, the focus is still on the content.
👀 Kinetic Typography 👀- We bring key pull quotes and sound bites to life with kinetic typography, giving our messaging energy while it interacts with the video itself.
🏆 Dialing Up The Excitement 🏆- Across the videos we have used a variety of techniques to ramp up the excitement and bring the content to life on the mobile screen.
🔊 Sound optimization 🔊- Turn it up, because the audio is AWESOME! But equally, the videos can be fully understood with the sound switched off.
