The Goal

Create disruptive content linking WAD and the Mars Pet Care range. Using VTR and VCR as the focus we ultimately aim to driving penetration.

Below are the different ways we approached the content and a summary of the routes we explored:

CAT OR DOG? 😻🐶 - Bring the existing statics to life and create more energy around the campaign allowing the content to run in a number of different placements.

THE VOTE! 👍 - Using Instagram Story polls as our placement we create bespoke assets that ask the question, “Cat Or Dog?”.

PUUUURFECT PALS 🐈 - Focusing on the sleek, subtle and streamlined nature of cats we create content that pushes the WAD and COD (Cat Or Dog) message but focusing solely on cats.

IT’S A DOG’S LIFE 🐩 - Whilst still pushing the WAD and COD message we focus on the playful, bouncy and excited nature that a dog has when it’s food is nearby.


Best Practice

We’ve outlined some of the key social media best practices that we’ve incorporated into the content to make sure it doesn’t just look good but it’s also effective:

👌Branding 👌- Each branding has been injected through each content, to increase brand recognition & recall.

🏃‍♂️On-the-go content 🏃‍♂️- All content delivers a hook message, the claim, or the product itself in a short amount of time and brings core info within the first 3 seconds.

📈Creative Variance 📈- Each piece is unique meaning it's perfect for testing to understand what is engaging with consumers to influence future content.

🔇Sound Off 🔇- Content can be understood with sound off, however delights with sound on through the use of audio tracks that complement the animation style of the video.

Delivery & Next Steps:

  • Please select your favourite videos from the links below, using the asset reference code (E.g. NGNL_XXXX) when selecting the videos.

  • Some videos are currently in 16:9 format, optimized for YT & others in 9:16 format, optimized for Stories

  • Following selection, you have 2 round of feedback on your selected videos.

  • Once amended we will proceed to formatting & video cutdown for an overall delivery of 13 videos.
