The Goal

To drive emotional connection and improve Lay’s association with the watching occasion and movies - driving home that Movies Taste Better With Lay’s.


The Direction

Within this brief we explored 3 creative routes to ensure variety within the content but each with a relatable movie theme:

  • Movies with Lay’s - high impact visuals and a mixture of classic movie special FX communicate the enriched experience watching with Lay’s offers

  • Coming Soon - informed by movie poster styles in a motion poster way to directly associate Lay’s with the movie watching world

  • What’s on the Menu? - visualising a streaming sites UI we directly associating Lay’s with watching through a recognisable experience familiar to our audience


Considerations

Presenting YouTube TrueView (16:9) & Instagram Stories (9:16), we’ve made sure we tap into platform and creative best practices:

  • Brand - strong brand & product presence

  • Impact - landing the core message and product within 3secs

  • Consumable - easily digestible and engaging within viewing experience

  • Focussed - clear and concise messaging
