The Goal

In this campaign, we want to focus on macro food videography such as American, Mexican, Sushi, or Chinese. The objective is to get viewers to click through, subscribe & order.

Below are the different ways we approached the content and a summary of the routes we explored:

THE TEASE 😍 - Focus on 1 hook message that that is pulsed in between food imagery. This video is showing off 1 food option.

FOOD ROULETTE 🍣🍔🍕 - Focus on food variety & show off an “always on” message that includes multiple food adjectives. The adjectives are swapping one after the other alongside the imagery.

WHATEVER YOU CRAVE 🤔 - Focus on 2 different food options. We want viewers to stop, think about food, and thus connect with the content.


Best Practice

We’ve outlined some of the key social media best practices that we’ve incorporated into the content to make sure it doesn’t just look good but it’s also effective:

👌Branding 👌- The DoorDash branding has been slightly injected through each content, knowing that food imagery should remain the focus.

🎨Color Grading🎨- We’ve done a first pass for each videos, however we’ll execute a second pass on the selected videos to ensure consistency & vibrant color.

Messaging ✅ - Sometimes playful, sometimes straightforward, the videos offer a great variety of copy to choose from. All of them though focus on providing context on DoorDash offering. Script available here.

🔇Sound Off 🔇- Content can be understood with sound off, however delights with sound on through the use of audio tracks that complement the animation style of the video.
