The Goal
To encourage the audience to make their first purchase with DoorDash by communicating the ‘taste experiences’ available via a range of different cuisines.
The Direction
Based on the direction Delicious, Delivered - the idea that food is more than just the dish - we explored two distinct creative directions to ensure variety within the content:
Delicious - combining illustrations & graphics with shots of the product we bring the food to life but add personality and evoke a feeling of ordering a dish, and getting an experience
FLAVO-OMG! - combining assets to visualise a taste sensation - transporting the viewer to an energy-filled vibrant fantasy world of flavour
Considerations
Focussing on Instagram first, we’ve made sure we tap into platform and creative best practices:
Brand - strong brand and product presence
Consumable - impactful, grabs and holds attention, easily digestible and engaging throughout
Messaging - either via creative or copy overlays, messaging is clear and concise around the DoorDash proposition
Variance - unique variables meaning you can test to understand what is engaging with consumers to influence future content
