FAMILY NIGHT IN, SORTED

 


The Goal

Drive downloads of the Deliveroo app amongst new users with the intent to make their first order.

We also aim to educate families on the breadth of Deliveroo offering, destroying the myth that Deliveroo is "just a thing for the big cities”. Below are the different ways we approached the content and a summary of the routes we explored:

DOORSTEP DISCOVERY - Showcase the variety of cuisines available through the Deliveroo app - showing that Deliveroo caters nationwide, and for everyone in the family.

EASY PEASY - Put emphasis on the ease of use of the app, showcasing features such as the “order progress”, to clearly show the quality of service that Deliveroo offers whilst Showing that with Deliveroo, family time is harmonious (well, almost!).

Best Practice

We’ve outlined some of the key Google UAC best practices that we’ve incorporated into the content to make sure it doesn’t just look good but it’s also effective:

👌Branding 👌- The Deliveroo branding has been injected through each content, to increase brand recall & recognition.

🎯Landing with impact 🎯- The first frames are always super important at landing the context + setting the mindset of the viewers. All content delivers the message in a short amount of time and brings core message or hook within the first seconds.

📈 Creative variance 📈- We develop a variety of creative styles and messaging, to start to see what is engaging with viewers to influence future content.

🔇Sound Off 🔇- Since audio isn’t guaranteed, the content can be understood with sound off, however delights with sound on through the use of audio tracks that complement the animation style of the video.

    • 2:3 for Google UAC

Delivery & Next Steps:

  • Please select your favourite 6 videos, using the asset reference code (E.g. NGNL_XXXX)

  • The videos are currently in 16:9 format, optimized Google UAC

  • Selection/feedback by EOD Friday 26th in preparation for a feedback call on Monday

  • Following selection, you have 2 rounds of feedback on your selected videos. We’ll generate the static during this stage

  • Once amended we will proceed to formatting for an overall delivery of 21 finalized assets.
